A few days ago I packed up my car with my kids and all our gear and drove 11 hours to the beautiful Salt Lake Valley. I went to school at BYU many years ago, and just driving into Utah brought back so many sweet memories! As soon as we crossed the state line past Wendover, all of us gasped at the amazing views of the salt flats that welcomed us. We pulled into the first rest stop and the kids took off running to explore this new terrain! It was so cool! It was chilly and windy though and I could only get the kids to look at me for one quick picture before hopping back into the car. I would love to try to stop there again on our way back out of town in a few days! The picture I took does not do it any justice. But here it is anyway! For more Glimpses posts, click HERE!
