This year during our annual trip to Canada, I was able to make time to do a few photo sessions and shoot in gorgeous British Columbia! I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the beauty growing up there, but I guess that happens when you’re constantly surrounded by beauty!

This lovely mom (who I knew growing up) and her beautiful girls have had some life changes lately so we decided this shoot represented new beginnings. Love it! Unfortunately, the session was a little more frantic and cut short because of a crazy thunder storm that rolled in RIGHT when we got started! So we took pictures in between loud cracks of thunder and managed to get a few shots at one location before the rain started pouring down..then we piled into their car and out-drove the clouds to get a few more shots at another location! I knew it was time to end when the lightening was getting awfully close and the big huge rain drops found us at our second spot. It was such an adventure!!! I feel bad that I wasn’t able to get some of the shots I had envisioned, but the girls were so cooperative and easy to photograph that we got several that I love! Hopefully we can do that again next year! (Without the thunder storm of course!)
