Meet Lauren F. A gorgeous, impressive young woman who braved the cold and the wind at Dillon Beach, in Northern California, for her senior picture photo session. I knew as we drove up that it was going to be tricky…but with hair, makeup and wardrobe prepared for the evening shoot, we had to press forward! Lauren was SUCH a trooper! She was a natural model and super easy to shoot–the wind and flying sand caused actual beach photos pretty near impossible, but we found a sheltered little area that worked for pictures, while her freezing mom and little brother waited patiently in the car. Lauren was such a pleasure to work with and we came away with some great shots!

Wow, these are gorgeous photographs. This girl must be so happy with them! You can’t tell it was cold at all. In fact, I love how her hair is blowing a bit in the wind.
Love the colors and variety! The wind in her hair give the photos a dynamic look. My favorite is the 2nd to last photo of her close up and smiling.
